May Day

My mom encouraged the girls to celebrate May Day (May 1st) by making a vase out of a paper cone and delivering flowers to our neighbors. Well the girls really took this to heart and so we went ahead and made our vases and picked flowers from the back yard and the girls delivered them in the rain to our neighbors. They LOVED doing this and wanted to do it again every day for the next week!

Chris and I have been faithfully committed and loving each other for almost 12 years. God has blessed us with 4 beautiful daughters: Kamryn, 9, Addison, 7, Tessa, 5, and Samantha 21 months. We love traveling with our kids and discovering new destinations. We are also discovering how to embrace a life of simplicity in this world of excess. Latest Talents and Quirks!

Samantha: ...is 17 months old and loves to sing around the house. She doesn't say words yet, but she sure makes herself known!
Addison: ...just lost her 3rd tooth. While biting into a snack, it fell out in her mouth...that just never happens!
Kamryn: ...has her own room and she is loving it! She made the Junior Olympics in 4 events for swimming this year! We are so proud of her!
Tessa: ...is my drama queen! Well, ok my 3rd drama queen. The age of 4 is proving to be the most challenging age!
Jen: ...is living out the "more with less" philosophy and truly embracing the journy. I'm cooking from scratch and discovering new hobbies like knitting and gardening.
Chris: ...has just begun his new position with The Well as the North campus pastor. Relationships and coversations give meaning to his day, so he has pleanty of purpose these days!
